• Dr. Jim Collinsworth has over 25 years of experience in the veterinary field.
• Dr. Collinsworth is a 1979 graduate of Kemp High School. He attended Texas A&M, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biomedical Science (1983) and Veterinary Science (1986) and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988.
• Dr. Collinsworth worked in the Necropsy/Pathology Lab of the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in College Station for 6 years while receiving his veterinary training.
• Dr. Collinsworth has one daughter, Keleigh, Texas A&M Class of 2012 and two stepsons, Landon and Lance Roberts. Dr. Collinsworth welcomed his first grandson, Jaxson Roberts in October 2015.
• Dr. Collinsworth and his wife Belva reside in Kemp where he is active in his church, First United Methodist Church of Kemp and the Kemp Education Foundation, among other civic duties.
